The Union Grill is an Ogden icon with more than 35 years of experience in Downtown Ogden.
Originally opened inside the historic Ogden Union Station, our menu is reflective of the melting pot that is Ogden, a reflection of the railroad history of this town. While we have outgrown that original location we are still operating in a historic home and our menu still reflects the layered history of this town.
A deep dive into Ogden’s railroad history will further understanding of our menu that has amassed dishes from Italian, Cajun, Mediterranean and Latin American backgrounds, more recently German, Salvadoran and Mexican influence.
Union Grill is located at the base of the historic Berthana, a 1910s era ballroom of grandeur, turned skating rink and then closed for good. There's incredible history right above us here at 315 24th Street. Original "Dancing Berthana" billboards and found newspaper scraps (insulation) are visible throughout the interior of the building as well as large format reprints of classic postcards from yesteryear.
Today, we are known for our well portioned meals, an elevated but comfortable dining experience in Ogden and many organizations treat us as their "lunch office." Our catering operations at Union Grill host more than two hundred events onsite each year plus offsite catering throughout Weber and Davis Counties.
